A Day Late . . . .

And a dollar short. . .

Where was THIS guy during the housing boom?

Sorry for the silence, readers! I had (minor) surgery in March and boy did it throw me for a loop!

Hope you're better. Not working too hard are you?

Coincidentally, we just listed our condo today. Bought it in July 2008at the peak before the slide. Took 3 years to get back to what we paid and enough for real estate commission, with luck. Decided we hate condo living and want the freedom and privacy of an apartment. Canada.

I too have noticed, the older we get, the longer the recovery takes!

Hope you're soon back up to speed! Take care of yourself - and be gentle! :) ENJOY!.

Ha ha, I AM, as usual, working too hard. . . )-: But am trying to be more intentional about taking on new work (I actually said NO to a proposition last week! I must be getting more intelligent with age. . .)

I'm excited to hear that you're putting your condo up for sale, Anonymous! I also bought at the peak and am patiently awaiting the day when I can sell without losing more than the downpayment and the $$$$ I've already put into interest payments. . . sigh. I wish you the very, very best of luck! Please come back and update us when you've completed the sale! I'm always looking for good real estate news to counteract the negative news.
