Hey! I just made $25!

I've been seeing the Revolution Money Exchange links everywhere on the web, and have simply wondered about them momentarily, then moved on. I almost never consider signing up for an account (credit, banking, etc) just because there's a 'free gift' involved.

However, I've also read some more about the company (primarily from other bloggers) and decided to give it a go. I have used PayPal in the past when I've wanted to purchase something online from EBay or other venues---until a friend emailed me to let me know that her account had been hacked. From then on, no more!

Anyway, I've set up a Revolution account, and hope to see my $25-just-for-signing-up deposit in my account soon. If you think this is something you'd be interested in, feel free to click the link below to use me as a referral---you'll get a free $25, and I'll get $10. It took all of three minutes to sign up; however, keep in mind this promotion only goes through May 15.

Hi- I have also signed up for Revolution $ exchange through another blog (sorry!) and see that my account has been credited the 25.00. Now the tricky part has been trying to get it from the Revolution account to my personal banking account. When you request to transfer the money, it asks you for a PIN. I have no idea what this is- I do not recall establishing a PIN and the PIN that I have to access my bank account (like when using an ATM machine) does not work. I tried to contact the customer service # listed in the contact us section, but it was busy ALL day yesterday. HELP! So- as of now, that 25.00 is there, I just can't get my hands on it. And with payday still 9 days away, that 25.00 would come in handy about now. Any suggestions? Thanks and I enjoy your blog.

Hi Liz! When I created my account, I was asked for a four-digit numerical pin (if my memory serves). I'm willing to bet that if you email the Revolution Exchange folks, they'll be able to either retrieve that for you from the system, or help you to create a new one.

I'll go in and attempt to transfer the $25 to my ING account today; I'll update comments later to let you know how it goes. . . .

Thanks for the comment!

Yes, it's hard to pass up a 'free' $25 gift!!! I'm still waiting to verify my online bank account, so haven't transferred the money to ING yet, but will update on that process. Thanks for the tip on finding the pin number: hopefully Liz will come back to the site and view your advice. . . .
